Story

This is a personal tribute and I am not seeking sponsors at this time, this is just to see if Nathan's dad can get off his fat bum and lose a little weight while hopefully getting a little more fit in the process. I have posted this as an event to give me a little more motivation and hopefully this may inspire a fund-raiser next year. I am doing this for both my boys, I love you both so very much.

Updates

Week one run three 03/09/21

3rd September 2021
This run was a little difficult, I am not sure if it's just because I was expecting another big improvement but that wasn't the case, my let leg started to burn on every jogging segment, it stretched out okay and recovered quickly after the run. I still not sure if to progress or repeat, will make that decision Sunday I guess.

Week one run two

1st September 2021
Well what a difference this run was, don't get me wing it was still hard on my legs (apparently when running your legs have the equivalent to three times your body weight on every foot fall), on the last run every 60 sec run felt a lot longer and from the third run half way through I was thinking please be over and the last two runs I didn't make the full 60 secs, this time before I know it a was been told to walk, and on the last two runs as soon as the thought I hope this ends soon I was been told to walk, so made all the runs. I also recovered a lot quicker and after doing some stretchs after my legs have recovered totally, not like the first run when my legs were still sore the next day. Stretching is key but the APP doesn't suggest which ones to do so you need to look these up. I still think I may need to repeat week one due to my weight and needing to build up my legs to run with the weight but we will see how run three goes.

Week one run one

1st September 2021
Week that was harder than expected, 5 min walk to start followed by 60 secs jogging then 90 secs walking repeated for 30 mins. Then 5 min cool down walk. On the last two runs didn't do the full 60 secs I think I will walk the route on the days I am not doing the run (only recommend doing 3 runs a week) (Not sure why the app says I have completed this run 4 times)
